南澳电气（武汉）有限公司（以下称“南澳电气”)，是国电网武汉高压研究所改制后成立的高新技术企业，是早期国企改制后成立最早的创新型重点生产单位，公司是集研发、设计和制造高电压输变电检测设备的高新骨干企业，主要从事电力检测设备、高电压试验研究、电力在线监测系统的研发。经过公司全体员工们孜孜不倦多年的努力，目前公司已成为集售后服务、科研开发、技术咨询、设备研制、产品销售、工程服务为一体的高新科研型单位。公司总部位于中国光谷，设备广泛应用于供电局、高校、电厂、铁路、电信、石油、化工、冶金、气象局等行业部门。公司自成立二十多年来，先后取得了《高新技术企业证书》、《ISO9001:2000质量管理体系认证证书》、《重质量守信用企业》等一系列资质认可，拥有一批高电压专科、计算机编程、电子技术扩展方面的博士、硕士及高工等专业人才，研发出的很多设备为国家电力行业的发展和电网安全运行提供了可靠的服务。

贰零零伍年，南澳电气研发出新一代的全自动绝缘油试油机，该设备在行业处于领先地位。
贰零零伍年，南澳电气与澳洲艾睿克电气公司重组，南澳电气设备厂正式成立。
贰零零陆年，南澳电气通过国际“质量管理体系认证”。
贰零零捌年，南澳电气成功自主出口一套高电压充气式试验变压器，通过上海港海运出口到德国。
